Course overview
Develop skills to identify and assess environmental and heritage concerns, support sustainable work practices and follow environmental requirements.
Who is this course for?
For people working or seeking operational work in civil infrastructure, coal mining, construction, drilling, extractive industries and metalliferous mining.
Delivery and duration
Fully online, self-paced learning and assessment completed remotely. Duration: up to 2 days. Expected study: up to 8 hours, depending on prior knowledge and experience.

This unit applies to individuals working under supervision who follow established routines and procedures and take responsibility for the quality of their own work.

Entry requirements
No formal prerequisites are listed. CTS requires learners to be at least 18 years old, have basic computer and literacy skills, and have a suitable device and internet access.
Assessment
Online assessment may include scenarios, knowledge questions, self-assessment, written responses and video/image evidence where applicable. Assessment is competency-based and relates to industry, legislative and site requirements.
